Digestive Disease Consultants is seeking a full-time EXPERIENCED APP, to work with a Board Certified Gastroenterologist on our team. We provide award-winning GI & Liver care to adult patients through our 3 North Orlando offices.
APP Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage adult patients in private practice, community, and outpatient general GI clinic settings.
- Prescribe common GI / Liver medications and treatments.
- Perform and document comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- Develop and implement practice patient management policies & procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities.
- Communicate effectively with supervising physicians, referring physicians, and other specialists as needed, regarding patient care.
- Document services by accurately charting and maintaining records in EHR.
Qualifications:
- Current State of Florida Practitioners License.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with patients.
- Skills in patient education and counseling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills with a willingness to learn new applications.
- Ability to work respectfully and collegially with clinical support staff.
