Digestive Disease Consultants is seeking a full-time EXPERIENCED APP, to work with a Board Certified Gastroenterologist on our team. We provide award-winning GI & Liver care to adult patients through our 3 North Orlando offices.

APP Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage adult patients in private practice, community, and outpatient general GI clinic settings.
Prescribe common GI / Liver medications and treatments.
Perform and document comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
Develop and implement practice patient management policies & procedures.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities.
Communicate effectively with supervising physicians, referring physicians, and other specialists as needed, regarding patient care.
Document services by accurately charting and maintaining records in EHR.

Qualifications:

Current State of Florida Practitioners License.
Ability to engage and build rapport with patients.
Skills in patient education and counseling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills with a willingness to learn new applications.
Ability to work respectfully and collegially with clinical support staff.
